Education-My Life Matters

Overview

This inspection assessed whether the school would meet independent school standards following a proposed increase in pupil capacity from 20 to 30. The report concludes that the school is “likely to meet the relevant independent school standards if the material change relating to the school provision is implemented.” Inspectors found that current arrangements for welfare, safety, and leadership are robust and well-prepared for the expansion.

• Health and safety policies are “implemented well,” with premises that are “clean and well maintained” and compliant with fire safety regulations.
• The “safer-recruitment process reflects statutory guidance,” with all required checks on staff and proprietors accurately recorded.
• Leaders demonstrate a “secure knowledge and understanding of the standards” and have “prepared well to extend the school’s capacity.”
