Overall effectiveness is judged as Good, with Behaviour and attitudes rated Outstanding.

Strengths

• Learners benefit from a supportive culture where they feel "safe and supported" and value the residential focus on studies.
• Teachers plan lessons effectively, using creative strategies like outdoor learning to help learners "remember more over time".
• Staff provide tailored support so that learners with additional needs "achieve as well as their peers".
• Leaders foster collaboration and inclusion, encouraging learners to participate in enrichment activities and share their views.
• Most learners on accredited courses achieve their qualifications and progress to their "intended next steps".

Areas to improve

• Ensure all learners develop their English and mathematics skills, particularly on courses like level 3 digital skills where support is currently inconsistent.
• Ensure all learners have access to personalised careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) throughout their studies.
• Work more closely with employers to design curriculums that precisely meet stakeholder needs and monitor next steps for non-accredited learners.
