Strengths

• The curriculum is brought to life through “a wide range of visits” and regular visitors.
• Pupils’ literacy skills develop well, with most becoming “capable readers” who enjoy reading.
• There are “frequent opportunities” for pupils to learn outdoors and use creative skills.
• The school’s counselling service “impacts positively on the whole school community.”

Areas to improve

• Improve pupils’ Welsh language skills, as most currently “lack confidence when using basic Welsh language patterns.”
