Parents and staff expressed high levels of satisfaction with the school’s life and work, citing effective leadership and a child-centred approach. The report notes that while outcomes for learners, quality of provision, and leadership are rated as ‘Good’, there are specific areas requiring further development.

Strengths

• Children engage enthusiastically with learning, with the most able pupils demonstrating a "secure understanding" of mathematics and reading with "fluency and expression".
• The curriculum is described as "broad and balanced", with best practice placing learning in "meaningful contexts" that account for children’s interests.
• Staff create a "secure learning environment" where working relationships are "positive and mutually respectful", contributing to a strong sense of community.
• There is a "collective approach to school improvement underpinned by a culture of openness and teamwork", with strategic leadership prioritising staff welfare.

Areas to improve

Safeguarding

The report states that arrangements for safeguarding children reflect Department of Education guidance, and children report that they feel safe and are aware of what to do if they have concerns.
