Check the area around this school
5th of 45 primary schools in Solihull we can score, 59 in total — the rest without enough published data. Local and same-phase on purpose: a national table mostly measures who attends.
Its results hold up when the comparison narrows to schools whose pupils have similar backgrounds — 9.9/10 against 2,336 of them, against 9.6/10 nationally. So this is not simply a reflection of who attends. Both figures are results only, without the inspection grade. A lower figure here means a stronger comparison group, not a weaker school.
How this is worked out
| Measure | Percentile | Weight | Adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Expected standard (RWM) 2024/25 | 86.0 · 95 | 40% | 3.78 |
| Ofsted | 52 | 35% | 1.82 |
| Higher standard (RWM) 2024/25 | 32.0 · 99 | 25% | 2.47 |
Each measure is read as a position among comparable schools, so a school in the middle of the country scores 5. Full method.

What Ofsted said about Lady Katherine Leveson Church of England Primary School
Overview
This is a “warm, welcoming and inclusive school” where staff know pupils and families extremely well. The inspection found that pupils behave very well and embody the school’s values of “learning, loving and living with joy,” creating a “happy and harmonious place to learn.” Leaders have made significant improvements to the curriculum since the previous inspection, particularly in reading and mathematics.
Strengths
- Reading has a “high profile” with effective structured phonics lessons, resulting in most pupils reading age-appropriate texts confidently by the end of key stage 1.
- The mathematics curriculum is well-developed, with teachers using “good subject knowledge” and consistent routines to help pupils deepen their understanding.
- Provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) has improved, with accurate identification and effective support ensuring strong progress.
- Leaders place great emphasis on developing pupils’ character, helping them understand discrimination and keep themselves safe, including online.
- Parents and carers are “overwhelmingly positive,” valuing the support staff give to their children.
Areas to improve
- In a few curriculum subjects, leaders have not precisely identified the key knowledge and skills pupils need, making it unclear how learning connects over time.
- Assessment in some subjects is not yet fully embedded, meaning teachers do not always check what pupils have learned to pinpoint gaps in knowledge.
Safeguarding
The arrangements for safeguarding are effective, with leaders ensuring it is a high priority through regular staff training, diligent record-keeping, and close work with partnership agencies.
