Strengths

• Staff prioritise "positive and caring relationships" that support the wellbeing of children and families, leading to improved engagement in learning.
• Teachers use a range of questions and approaches to improve play and learning, helping children develop the ability to "talk about their learning".
• Practitioners explain and support children through talking, which aids their understanding and development.

Areas to improve

• Senior leaders and staff should embed policies and processes to "raise attainment and achievement for all children" across the school and ECC.
• Leaders should support staff to use assessments and data to "track more clearly how much and how well all children progress overtime" and plan challenging learning.
• Leaders should improve the quality of learning and teaching to ensure children can "lead their own learning" and are clear about their next steps.
