Overview: Pupils thrive at Noorul Uloom, a happy and welcoming Islamic faith secondary school, where they enjoy highly positive relationships with each other and staff. They behave impeccably and are exceptionally polite, courteous, and thoughtful. The school is extremely ambitious for its pupils, with high expectations for achievement, which are fully realised.

Strengths:

• Pupils behave with unwaveringly high levels of respect for each other and adults.
• The school has a strong focus on supporting positive attendance and takes effective action to secure improvements if pupils have low prior attendance.
• Pupils are prepared exceptionally well for life in modern Britain, equipped to be successful, confident, and independent citizens.
• The school has a comprehensive personal, social, and health education (PSHE) and relationships and sex education curriculum that fully reflects the school's Islamic ethos and fundamental British values.

Areas to improve:

• The school's systems for identifying pupils with additional needs, including pupils with SEND or pupils with gaps in their knowledge, are in the early stages.
• Some of the proprietor's systems in place to hold leaders to account are underdeveloped, which means the proprietor is not sufficiently assured of the strengths and weaknesses of the school.
