Overview: The school meets all of the independent school standards that were checked during this inspection. The school has made significant improvements since the previous inspection, addressing the issues related to behaviour management and leadership and management.

Strengths:

• The proprietor has increased the capacity for leaders to support staff in managing pupils' behaviour.
• Leaders have ensured that staff have better knowledge and more capacity to respond to incidents of poor behaviour and to support pupils to manage their behaviour.
• Pupils feel safe at the school, with a culture of vigilance among staff in relation to keeping pupils safe.
• Leaders have introduced 'reset' rooms to provide opportunities for pupils who are struggling to engage with learning to have time away from the classroom to reflect on their behaviour with a member of staff.
• Pupils have more opportunities to take on responsibilities around the school, including showing visitors around the school and being involved in the recruitment process for new staff.

Safeguarding: Leaders have ensured that there is a culture of vigilance among staff in relation to keeping pupils safe, with regular training and briefings to develop further their knowledge of how best to keep pupils safe.
