• On occasion, the work teachers provide pupils with does not focus well enough on the most important knowledge that the curriculum identifies, leading to pupils becoming confused and not learning as well as they could.
• The school does not consistently identify areas for improvement in the quality of teaching, which means that staff do not receive the support they need to improve their teaching.
