Pupils at Severn Primary School enjoy coming to school and feel safe in an environment that supports equality and inclusion. The headteacher leads with professionalism and compassion, while governors support leaders well and manage spending diligently. However, leaders do not always address important areas in need of development, such as the quality of feedback or supporting pupils to become independent learners.

Safeguarding

The school has a robust approach to safeguarding, with staff and governors working hard to establish safety, although this is hampered by ongoing maintenance issues in an aging building.
