The inspection highlights “excellent” wellbeing, teaching, and leadership, driven by an innovative co-headteacher structure and strong cluster partnerships. While standards are generally good, the report identifies specific areas for development in Welsh language proficiency and extended writing.

• The “innovative leadership structure” enables effective collaboration across a cluster of schools, significantly enriching curriculum provision and staff professional development.
• Staff make “very purposeful use of the outdoor environment” to motivate pupils and support creative and physical development.
• Governors provide “very good support and challenge” to leaders, monitoring initiatives effectively and contributing to the school’s success.
• The curriculum offers extensive opportunities for pupils to use ICT, numeracy, and literacy skills for “real-life purposes,” such as designing products and managing budgets.

Areas to improve
