• The school provides support to families to overcome barriers to regular attendance.

Areas to improve:

• Some pupils are not being taught the phonics knowledge they need to read well, with variability in the teaching of early reading and a lack of consistency in phonics approaches.
• Pupils' absence is still too high, with some pupils missing out on important learning.
