Areas to improve

• In an "isolated pocket of the curriculum," teaching does not engage pupils well, leading to low retention of information and low English Baccalaureate entry.
• The review cycle for pupils with SEND is not fully developed, meaning some parents feel their "voice... is not given sufficient consideration."
• Interventions for pupils at early stages of learning to read are not always "precise enough," limiting progress towards age-appropriate fluency.

The report states that "the arrangements for safeguarding are effective," with leaders ensuring staff understand their responsibilities and that concerns are accurately recorded and acted upon.
