• Leaders provide bespoke learning plans and specialist in-house interventions for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
• Staff use props and animated language to bring stories to life, helping children make connections with their learning.
• Collaboration within the federation supports staff workload and well-being, while parents appreciate staff availability.

Areas to improve

• Leaders must explicitly lay out the exact knowledge to be taught in all learning areas so activities sufficiently build on what children already know.
• Daily routines should be adapted to ensure they always engage children in purposeful activities, preventing distraction while waiting for the next task.
