The Kimberley School continues to be a good school, where pupils feel safe and are proud of their achievements. Leaders maintain high expectations and have developed an ambitious curriculum that allows pupils to build knowledge over time, supported by strong pastoral systems and kind teachers.
Strengths
- Pupils talk positively about the ‘Kimberley Way’, which teaches them to respect themselves and each other.
- Subject leaders have expert knowledge and order learning to allow pupils to build their knowledge over time.
- Teachers help pupils connect their learning with prior knowledge, and sixth-form students are encouraged to extend their learning beyond the curriculum.
