The report highlights an “exemplary personal development programme” and strong relationships, noting that kindness is the “golden thread” running through the school. While the quality of education and behaviour are rated as good, the school’s personal development is judged as outstanding.

Strengths

• Staff possess “strong” subject knowledge and provide “prompt and targeted support” for pupils who need help.
• Early reading is a strength, with staff delivering the phonic programme “expertly” and promoting the “joy of reading”.
• Pupils are “exceptionally well prepared for later life” through a wealth of experiences extending beyond the curriculum.
• Staff are “unanimously positive” about support for their workload and well-being.

Areas to improve

• The school must establish effective systems to support its “ever-growing size,” as inconsistent adaptations have led to some parental dissatisfaction.
• Leaders must continue to monitor the curriculum’s impact to ensure pupils are “well prepared” for the transition to secondary school.
• The school must ensure all pupils demonstrate “consistently positive attitudes” and fully engage in their learning.
