Grammar schools in Axminster
There are no grammar schools in Axminster.
Grammar schools are state secondaries that select by ability, usually through an 11+ test. Devon has 1 of them, but not one in Axminster itself — so every state secondary in Axminster admits without a selective test.
The nearest is Colyton Grammar School, about 5.3 miles away in Devon. Most grammar schools accept out-of-area applicants, though distance is often a tie-breaker when a school is oversubscribed.
