Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School

1. Looked after — Looked after children and previously looked after children (adopted, special guardianship, child arrangements order)
2. Pupil premium near qualifying — Up to 6 places: Pupil Premium children in catchment (or LAC anywhere) with STT score 115–120 (just below qualifying threshold)
3. Pupil premium catchment — Catchment area children eligible for Pupil Premium
4. Sibling current roll — Siblings of children currently on roll at the school (Years 7–10)
5. Sibling partner school — Siblings of children on roll at the school's partner school (e.g. Aylesbury High School for Aylesbury Grammar)
6. Sibling former roll — Siblings of children who have previously been on roll at the school
7. Staff child — Children of permanent staff employed at the school for ≥2 years (or recruited to fill a demonstrable skills shortage)
8. Medical social — Children with exceptional medical/social needs that can only be met at this specific school, supported by professional evidence
9. Catchment — Children living in the school's defined catchment area
10. Other qualified — All other qualifying children — tiebreaker: straight-line distance (closest first)

The STT is produced by GL Assessment and consists of two multiple-choice papers, each about 60 minutes including a short break between them: 1. Verbal skills — comprehension, technical English, and verbal reasoning. 2. Mathematical and non-verbal skills — maths and non-verbal/spatial reasoning. A shorter practice test is normally given about two days before the main test so children know what to expect and become familiar with the question style. Children at state-funded Buckinghamshire primary/partner schools sit the test at school during the school day.

Of the 209-student 2019/20 leaver cohort, sustaining a higher-education destination the following year. This is the last cohort the Department for Education published with an Oxbridge/Russell Group breakdown — these categories were discontinued as official accountability measures after this release, so a more recent figure does not exist.
