• The school has introduced an electronic recording system for safeguarding issues, which enables leaders to efficiently spot patterns and trends that may help them to notice that a pupil may be at risk or require additional support.
• The school has put in place regular cleaning for all areas involving food preparation, which has improved the environment for food preparation.
• The school has put a health and safety manager in place to oversee this aspect of the school’s work, which is having a positive impact on ensuring that any issues raised are quickly actioned.

Areas to improve:

• The school does not meet the independent school standards in the quality of education provided, particularly in teaching pupils about protected characteristics, including those related to sexual orientation and gender reassignment.
• The school does not meet the independent school standards in the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils, particularly in teaching pupils about protected characteristics.
• The school does not meet the independent school standards in the quality of leadership in and management of schools, particularly in ensuring that the curriculum meets the requirements of the standards.

Safeguarding: The school has made improvements to its safeguarding systems, including the introduction of an electronic recording system, and leaders take timely action to follow up on concerns raised.
