• Children are supported to become "confident, responsible, caring and co-operative," with older pupils showing "compassion, care, kindness and respect" to younger children.
• Staff work very well with families to improve children’s health and wellbeing, meeting the needs of "almost all children effectively, including those with barriers to learning."
• In the early years centre, children make "very good progress in their learning," using a "wide range of vocabulary" and taking turns well.

Areas to improve

• Children need further opportunities to "extend and apply their learning in new and unfamiliar contexts" to demonstrate the depth of their learning.
• Staff should continue to develop "high quality child-centred approaches that offer the opportunity for children to lead their own learning."
