• Year 6 pupils reported feeling “safe, happy and cared for” and spoke “enthusiastically and maturely” about support mechanisms.

Areas to improve

• The ETI was unable to fully evaluate “the effectiveness of the strategic leadership” and “middle leadership.”
• The inspectorate could not assess “the effectiveness of action to promote and sustain improvement” due to limited evidence.
• The report notes the ETI was unable to evaluate “the outworking of the arrangements for safeguarding” fully.

Safeguarding

The school provided evidence that safeguarding arrangements “reflect broadly the guidance from the Department of Education,” though the ETI was unable to fully evaluate their implementation.
