Consequently, the school requires additional support and will undergo a further inspection within six months.

• Improve nursery leadership to ensure staff “more fully understand their roles and responsibilities” and review policies.
• Develop clearer approaches to “planning and assessing progress for children who require additional support.”
• Strengthen safeguarding procedures, including audits and staff competence in recognising protection concerns.

Safeguarding

The Care Inspectorate issued a requirement for the provider to ensure children are “safeguarded and protected from harm” by auditing procedures and ensuring staff have the necessary skills to respond to concerns.
