The school demonstrates good performance in learning, teaching and assessment, as well as raising attainment and achievement, with inspectors expressing confidence in its capacity to continue improving.

Strengths

• The headteacher and staff create a positive environment, fostering "highly effective relationships" that help children feel "included, valued and a strong sense of belonging."
• Staff maintain "highly effective partnerships" with national organisations, community groups, and parents, enabling children to develop important skills for learning, life, and work.
• The school maintains a "positive overview of children’s progress, attainment, attendance, wellbeing and achievements," using data well to identify needs and ensure the impact of support continues over time.

Areas to improve

• Teachers should develop the use of "rich and creative contexts for learning" across curricular areas, including greater independence for children and regular "learning through play" for younger pupils.
• Staff should improve children’s progress and attainment, with a "particular focus on developing writing skills," and ensure those requiring more challenging learning are supported to achieve their full potential.
