Strengths

• Staff interactions are of "high quality," using repeated key vocabulary and accurate grammar to reinforce language skills, while mathematical concepts like number and pattern are embedded throughout the environment.
• Parents and carers are "overwhelmingly positive," valuing the "strength of relationships between school and home" and noting that staff are "approachable" and "encouraging."
• Leaders consider staff well-being, and staff are "proud to work at this school," contributing to a "settled learning environment" with established routines.

Areas to improve

• Leaders should ensure the early years curriculum identifies "important knowledge that children need in preparation for learning" in sufficient detail, so teachers are clear on how earlier learning is secured before introducing new concepts.

Safeguarding

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective, with a "strong culture of safeguarding," regular training, and detailed record-keeping to support children’s welfare.
