Triangle Nursery School

Overview

Triangle Nursery School has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at its previous inspection, where it was judged outstanding for overall effectiveness. The report confirms that children thrive in a warm, inclusive environment where they feel safe and secure, enabling them to confidently explore well-organised activities.

Strengths

• Children settle quickly into a ‘warm and welcoming environment’ where staff form ‘strong, nurturing relationships’.
• The school is ‘ambitious for all its children’, with a curriculum ‘thoughtfully designed to reflect children’s needs and interests’.
• Staff effectively use songs, stories, and real-life experiences to ‘spark curiosity and nurture a love of learning’.
• Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well, accessing the curriculum with ‘increasing independence and confidence’.
• Leadership is ‘knowledgeable and deeply committed’, with governors playing an active role in providing ‘appropriate challenge and support’.

Areas to improve

• The school should refine the curriculum to ensure ‘clear progression in all areas of learning’ and support staff to deliver this consistently, as some teaching interactions do not yet precisely support children in building knowledge towards end goals.

Safeguarding

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.
