Overview: Weston Favell Academy is a good school that provides a positive and supportive environment for its pupils. The school has made significant improvements in recent years, particularly in mathematics results. Pupils value the academic and pastoral support they receive from staff and are proud to wear their uniform.

Areas to improve:

• In some lessons, staff do not routinely question pupils to check their understanding, which can lead to staff not adapting lessons to support pupils to learn new knowledge securely.
• There are limited activities for pupils to take part in beyond the academic curriculum, which can lead to pupils missing out on opportunities to pursue their wider talents and interests or enjoy memorable experiences.
