Areas to improve

• Assessment in some foundation subjects does not identify pupils’ knowledge gaps clearly enough, hindering achievement in these areas.
• The school needs to embed its newly introduced approach to assessment in these subjects so that teaching addresses areas where pupils’ knowledge is less strong.
