• Early reading has been prioritised effectively; children now read books matching known sounds, helping them "build confidence and fluency."

• Personal development is well-considered, with pupils learning about healthy relationships, British values, and different cultures.

Areas to improve

• The school must identify key knowledge in all subjects from early years to Year 2 to help staff design learning that builds knowledge over time.
• Curriculum implementation requires review to ensure consistency and that staff have the expertise to successfully build pupils’ knowledge in all areas.
• Robust systems are needed to ensure support for pupils with SEND is precise, rigorous, and consistently drives their achievement.
